MIDI Routing in AMPT is achieved by creating connections between MIDI
devices. In order for one MIDI device to send MIDI messages to a
second device, a transmitter of the first device must be connected to
a receiver of the second device.
In order to achieve this in AMPT, you must first have the two devices
on the canvas. To connect the devices together, first, right-click on
the device that you want to transmit messages from. Choose "Add
Filter Connection". Then, click on the device that you want to
receive the MIDI messages. You should see that a line is drawn
between the two devices to represent that they are connected. The
arrow on the line displays the direction that the MIDI messages will
travel.
